This privacy policy applies to MivSweep, a local‑oriented device cleaning application. We respect user privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Core Statement: MivSweep performs most file‑scanning and cleaning logic locally on your Android device. Your local files will not be uploaded to remote servers unless you explicitly trigger optional manual upload functions inside the app.

2. Information We Collect

  • No personal identifiers collected passively: We do not automatically collect your name, email, phone number or location in normal usage.
  • App‑generated temporary data: Temporary cache statistics are generated locally to display cleaning results, these statistics never leave your device by default.
  • Crash & analytics data: If third‑party SDK is integrated, anonymized crash reports may be collected for bug fixing.

3. Device Permissions

MivSweep requests storage‑related permissions to scan cache files, junk files and residual files for cleaning purpose. The permission is only used for implementing core cleaning functions. The app can view files on your device solely for local analysis and cleanup operations.

We will not read, send or share your private documents, photos or personal media for any other purpose.

4. How We Use Information

All locally‑generated data is only used to provide cleaning‑related features: display junk file size, list deletable items, show scan results. Anonymized crash data (if any) is used only to improve application stability.

All scan records and app settings are stored locally on your device. You can clear app data via Android system settings at any time to erase all local records generated by MivSweep. We do not maintain remote cloud copies of your local file data.

The app may contain third‑party SDKs for advertising or crash reporting. Those third parties have their own independent privacy policies. We take no responsibility for activities of these external services, please review their privacy notices separately.

7. Your Rights

You may revoke storage permissions at any time via Android system settings. Revoking permissions will disable core cleaning functions of MivSweep. You can uninstall the application completely to remove all app‑related local data.

8. Children’s Privacy

MivSweep is not specifically targeted toward children under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have obtained information from a child, please contact us for immediate removal.
